To coincide with this weeks survey we thought we’d share with you our current workout play list.

Liz - ipod nano

Liz is a Rock Chick who likes her country as well so it comes as no surprise to see Keith Urban in her top 5.

  1. This ain’t a scene - Fall out boy
  2. Black top ends - Keith Urban
  3. Mash up - Sweet Home Alabama Vs Country grammar
  4. Don’t stop the music - Rhianna
  5. Run - Gnarls Barkley

Kel - very dodgy MP3 player (Because he’s not allowed to upgrade at the moment…boo hoo)

  1. Welcome to the Jungle - Guns & Roses
  2. Comfortably Numb - Scissor sisters
  3. Good Excuse - John Butler
  4. The Great Escape - Boys like Girls
  5. The Hard Way - Thirsty Merc

Ok so I bitched about not having an ipod….If you, like me, are still playing around with a clunky old MP3 player and you really want to upgrade, here is a review I did on the ipod nano when I was researching them to buy Liz’s Christmas present:

Apple – iPod Nano 3rd Generation

Review by Kel Harper

They say good things come in small packages and in the case of the new Apple iPodNano I would have to agree.

You can’t help but love this little fella….cute, cuddly and yes…a little bit tubby.

The Nano is more than just a digital music player though…with the added video features you can watch video clips, movie trailers, pictures and play games on the sexy little 50mm wide screen…or 2 inches in the old scale.

The new ipod nano comes with the signature Apple iPod aluminium front but this time it sports a new chrome back….great for engraving the name of a loved one? Hint hint

You might want to pinch the cleaning cloth out of someone’s glasses case for that new chrome back though…talk about fingerprint city…I wouldn’t steal one of these if I was you!!

Not only does the Nano get dirty quickly, it scratches easily as well so you might want to buy a skin (cover) to protect it.

Now let’s talk about the sound. If you’re a purest and you have an ear for sound, our advice would be to throw away the headphones that come with the box and replace them with a suitable weapon of your choice. For the rest of us though – The Nano really does sound great!

While there are some problems with the compatibility of older style iPod accessories,The new features on the Nano well and truly make up for it and are really fun to play with….like the Cover Flow feature where you can flip through album covers like you were in a CD store…..Heaps better than just scrolling through a boring list of songs right?. This is the same feature you’ll find on the new apple iphone by the way….without the cost!

All in all i think the Nano is great value and will do the job for you and a little bit more.
